Actually anybody is welcome to attend LDS chapels. If you drive by one, you will see on the outside, "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Visitors Welcome." I'd encourage you to visit a chapel near you. The LDS Church also has 130+ temples throughout the world where other ordinances are done (I have another post about this).
